Aboard the historic, meticulously restored federation carriages of Spirit of the West, you will be transported back to a gracious bygone era when legendary trains like the Orient Express were the playgrounds of fashionable society.  Spirit of the West departs from East Perth.

Dine in the elegant ambience of rich timber panelling, gleaming brass and colourful lead light as you sip on a welcome glass of champagne. Then watch the ever changing scenic views from your window as our nostalgic restaurant on wheels tempts you with a delicious 5 course meal. Our fine cuisine is imaginatively prepared by our chefs using fresh local produce from the Swan Valley and surrounding areas accompanied by a premium bottled wine and champagne from WA's Jane Brook Estate Winery, plus premium bottled beer.

Breathtaking Views of the Avon Valley

The Avon Valley tour offers guests breathtaking views of some of Western Australia's prettiest countryside as the train follows the course of the Avon River through green landscapes and colourful fields of West Australian wildflowers during spring; including several National Trust listed heritage buildings in Guildford and Midland. Guests will enjoy a floodlit view of the valley for the Saturday evening tour. Tours depart every Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime.
